Rui M. P. Almeida

Doctor of Business Sciences with a specialization in Accounting from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Postgraduate in Accounting Auditing from the Autonomous University of Lisbon and graduated in Accounting/Financial Control from ISCAL - Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Lisbon.
Certified Public Accountant and trainer in the field of Accounting and author of several books and technical and scientific articles, among others, co-author of the books "SNCRF of Cape Verde Explained", "SNC Explained", "SNC - Practical Cases and Solved Exercises", "The SNC and Micro-entities", "International Accounting Harmonization" and "Accountability". Coordinating Professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Lisbon (ISCAL) in the area of ​​accounting, coordinating several curricular units in financial accounting and in PSE, also teaching in several other master's and doctoral programs and Pro-President for research.
He is also a researcher in Accounting at the University of Extremadura (Spain) and was a member of the Accounting Standards Commission, having been a co-legislator of the SNC (Accounting Standards System).
