Rui Aguiar

Rui Aguiar nasceu em Ponte de Sor. Frequentou o Liceu de Portalegre e o Colégio de Ponte de Sor. Fez o curso da Antiga Escola Naval — hoje Academia de Marinha. Serviu na Marinha mais de três décadas, frequentando cursos no estrangeiro. Vivenciou vários embarques e passagens por capitanias, em especial nos Açores. Cumpriu várias comissões no Ultramar, após as quais desempenhou funções no Porto de Lisboa.
