Rufas Santo

Rufas Santo [Rufino E. Santo] nasceu em São Tomé em 1959, em plena gravana.
Passou a infância no Riboque, tendo estudado, em São Tomé e Príncipe, na Escola Primária Vaz Monteiro (atual D. Maria de Jesus), na Escola Preparatória Pedro Álvares Cabral (atual Patrice Lumumba) e no Liceu Nacional de São Tomé (antigo Liceu D. João II).
Licenciou-se em Física na Universidade de Havana, Cuba.
Foi professor de Física e Matemática no Liceu Nacional de São Tomé e na Escola de Formação de Professores.
Reside em Portugal (Seixal).
É um dos laureados do primeiro concurso de literatura promovido pela UNEAS (União Nacional dos Escritores e Artistas São-tomenses) com A Palavra Perdida e outros contos.
