Ross Welford

Ross Welford nasceu em Cullercoats, uma pequena vila costeira no nordeste de Inglaterra (aparece nos livros como «Culvercot».) Estudou Inglês na Universidade de Leeds. Depois mudou-se para Londres, tornou-se jornalista e, alguns anos depois, produtor de televisão. Trabalhou em muitos programas bem conhecidos e outros tantos para esquecer. Começou a escrever Viagem no tempo com um hámster em 2014. Para sua satisfação, foi publicado em janeiro de 2016 com a aclamação do público e da crítica. Posteriormente, publicou outros três romances para crianças. Vive em Londres, Inglaterra, com a família, uns peixes tropicais e Jess, um border collie. Quando não escreve, faz digressões pelo Reino Unido e pelo estrangeiro, dando palestras em escolas, livrarias e festivais, nomeadamente os de Henley, Cheltenham e Edimburgo.
