Rosa Oliveira nasceu em Viseu, em 1958. Publicou os ensaios Paris 1937 e Tragédias Sobrepostas: Sobre «O Indesejado» de Jorge de Sena. Foi leitora na Universidade de Barcelona e é professora no ensino superior politécnico. Cinza, o seu primeiro livro de poesia (Tinta-da-china, 2013), foi galardoado com o Prémio PEN Clube Primeira Obra, e Tardio, o segundo (Tinta-da-china, 2017), recebeu o Prémio Literário Fundação Inês de Castro. Atualmente, vive em Coimbra com o filho.
