Roger Vailland (Acy-en-Multien, 16 de outubro de 1907 - Meillonnas, 12 de maio de 1965) foi um romancista, ensaísta e dramaturgo francês. Dos seus romances destacam-se Drôle de Jeu (1945), Les Mauvais Coups (1948), Un Jeune Homme Seul (1951), 325 000 Francs (1955), La Loi (1957), vencedor do Prémio Goncourt. Das suas peças destacam-se Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1959) e Le Vice et La Vertu (1962). Vailland participou na Resistência Francesa durante a ocupação nazista. Drôle de Jeu é considerado um dos melhores romances sobre a Resistência Antifascista. Vailland ingressou no Partido Comunista Francês, mas renunciou após a supressão soviética da Revolução Húngara de 1956.
