Rodrigo Fresán

Rodrigo Fresán nasceu em Buenos Aires em 1963 e vive atualmente em Barcelona. É considerando um dos expoentes máximos da nova literatura sul-americana de língua espanhola. Trabalha como jornalista desde 1984, escrevendo sobre música pop, cinema, gastronomia e cultura. Da sua obra literária, marcada, segundo a crítica, por uma prosa hipnótica e digressiva destacam-se, para além de «Jardins de Kensington», os romances: "Esperanto", "La Velocidad de Las Cosas" e "Mantra", traduzidos em mais de dez países. É a primeira vez que o autor é publicado em Portugal.
