Roby Amorim

José de ROBY AMORIM. (Braga, 1927 – Lisboa, 2013) foi um dos nomes mais respeitados do jornalismo português. Iniciou a sua carreira no Correio do Minho, tendo passado pelo Diário Ilustrado, ABC, O Século (onde chegou a director por nomeação da redacção), Diário de Lisboa e as agências de notícias ANOP e Lusa. Desde sempre focado na temática histórico-cultural portuguesa, recebeu ao longo da carreira dezenas de prémios.
Publicou Elucidário de Conhecimentos Quase Inúteis, Da Mão à Boca – Para uma História da Alimentação em Portugal e ABC dos Sabores Portugueses e Mais Alguns.
