Robert Temple

O professor Robert Temple é o autor de vários livros incisivos e provocantes, incluindo o best-seller internacional O Mistério de Sírius (publicado no Brasil pela Madras Editora). Seus livros foram traduzidos em um total de 44 idiomas.
É professor visitante de História e Filosofia da Ciência na Universidade Tsinghua, em Pequim. Por muitos anos, ele escreveu sobre ciência para o Sunday Times e para o Guardian, e foi repórter de ciência da Time Life, além de um crítico frequente na Nature e autor de perfis para a New Scientist.
Ele produziu, escreveu e apresentou um documentário para o Channel 4 e os canais da National Geographic sobre suas descobertas arqueológicas e é membro da Sociedade Astronômica Real na Grã-Bretanha. Junto com o professor Ioannis Liritzis, Robert Temple é codiretor do Projeto para Datação Histórica, e eles fizeram trabalho de campo juntos em projetos arqueométricos na Grécia e no Egito.
