Rita Rato

Rita Rato é alentejana e mãe de um jovem de 14 anos. Politóloga, formou-se em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Foi deputada à Assembleia da República entre 2009 e 2019 e criadora de conteúdos pedagógicos na área da Educação para a Cidadania e Desenvolvimento. É diretora do Museu do Aljube Resistência e Liberdade desde agosto de 2020, onde foi curadora das exposições Mulheres e Resistência — «Novas Cartas Portuguesas» e outras lutas (2021), Ato (DES)colonial (2022) e Adeus Pátria e Família (2022).
