Rita Homem de Mello

Rita Homem de Mello nasceu em 1983 no Porto, onde se formou em Ciências da Comunicação, tendo feito parte da licenciatura no Brasil. Completou dois cursos de Escrita Criativa na Fundação de Serralves e frequentou o mestrado em Estudos Literários, Culturais e Interartes. É crítica literária nos jornais "I" e "Sol" e tem colaborações na "Suroeste — Revista de Literaturas Ibéricas".
Vive atualmente em Madrid. É neta do poeta Pedro Homem de Mello (1904-1984) e bisneta de António Homem de Mello (1868-1947), autor de cantigas e romances, amigo e colega de carteira do poeta António Nobre (1867-1900).
Foi poeta convidada do Festival Correntes d’Escritas em 2019.
