Doutorada em Psicologia Social, Investigadora Auxiliar no Centro de Investigação e Intervenção Social (CIS-IUL) do ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, desenvolve pesquisa nas áreas das relações intergrupais, preconceito, imigração e identidade. Os seus trabalhos têm sido publicados em diversas revistas internacionais, incluindo Psychological Science, European Journal of Social Psychology e Group Processes and Intergroup Relations, e em diversos livros e manuais da especialidade (publicados pela Psychology Press e Oxford University Press). Tem coordenado vários projetos de investigação financiados pela Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) e pelo Alto Comissariado para as Migrações (ACM).
