A graduate in Philosophy from the University of Oviedo, Ricardo Menéndez Salmón (Gijón, 1971) was already the author of a diverse body of work when, in 2007, with the publication of The Offense, has become one of the leading figures in new Spanish literature.

These three novels, known as the Trilogy of Evil, are part of the Porto Editora catalog.
