Renata Pisu

Renata Pisu estuda há muito na Universidade de Pequim, afirmando-se como uma das mais notáveis e conhecidas especialistas no mundo chinês. Jornalista desde sempre atenta aos problemas do Extremo Oriente, foi a principal correspondente do jornal La Stampa em Tóquio e, a partir de 1990, enviada especial de La Reppublica. Para a RAI (Radiotelevisão Italiana) concebeu e realizou várias transmissões radiofónicas. Actualmente escreve para os jornais L'Expresso, La Repubblica e D. De entre os seus livros publicados destacam-se: L'Opera di Pechino (Editora Mondadori, 1983); Cina, entre homens e monstros (Editora Rizzoli,1991); La via della Cina - prémio Rapallo e finalista do prémio Strega -, Alle radici del sole (2000) e Oriente Express (2002).
