Raul Castro

Raul Castro é o irmão mais novo de Fidel e nasceu em 1931. Conheceu Che Guevara no México e, como combatente do exército rebelde tomou parte da campanha da Sierra Maestra, em 1958, e foi nomeado comandante. Em 2006 assumiu o cargo de Presidente do Conselho de Estado durante a transferência temporária de poder em virtude da enfermidade de Fidel Castro, cargo que viria a assumir com plenos poderes a Fevereiro de 2008.
