Raquel Moreira é professora da Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, desde 1996, e investigadora do Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (CRIA/FCSH-UNL).
A sua paixão pela alimentação remonta ao final da licenciatura, aprofundou-se ao longo do seu percurso académico e tornou-se num objeto de estudo e partilha que a acompanha há décadas.
Investiga e leciona nestas áreas há mais de vinte anos.
Tem participado em inúmeros projetos de investigações na área da gastronomia e é autora de diversas publicações, das quais se destacam o livro Queijadas de Sintra, História de um Doce Regional (Colares Editora).
