Pr. Jair Tavares

Jair Tavares, born on August 6, 1959, is a native of Santa Maria Madalena, a small town in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro - RJ. He has resided in Nova Friburgo – RJ for 38 years, where he has been awarded the title of Citizen of Nova Friburgo in recognition of his outstanding service to the municipality. He is an itinerant pastor and missionary, part of the pastoral body of the Evangelical Assembly of God Church in Brazil. He is registered with OMEBE – Order of Evangelical Ministers in Brazil and Abroad – Registration No. 11,785, Rio de Janeiro/RJ Section. He studied for two years at the Betel Theological Seminary, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. For 26 years he has dedicated himself to evangelization work throughout Brazil, transmitting divine messages in his works.

He published his first book, titled Path of LightThe first edition was published in 1988, the second in 1989, and the third in 1990.
In 1990 he published his second book, entitled Expression of Love.
His third book, entitled JESUS ​​– The World Needs Him, His fourth book, entitled, King Jesus is coming back., was published in 2014 by the largest contemporary publisher in Portugal, Chiado Editora Global, and he also published his fifth book in 2015, entitled JESUS ​​Light, Love, Hope by that same publisher.
He contributed one of his poems to the largest and most daring literary work on poetry in Brazil: Anthology of Contemporary Poetry from São Paulo – Volume I – Title: Beyond the earth... Beyond the sky, launched in Brazil by the distinguished Portuguese Mr. Gonçalo Martins, in the city of São Paulo, in November 2015.
He also contributes one of his poems to Volume II of Anthology of Poetry from Brazil – Beyond the earth, beyond the sky., also by the illustrious Portuguese - CEO of Chiado Editora, launched on May 7, 2017, in the city of São Paulo.
He recorded two LPs: one in December 1990, titled Songs of Salvation and the second in 09/1992, entitled Expression of Love, which is also the title of one of his books.
He recorded a DVD documentary – Video, of his travels through Egypt, Rome, the Holy Land of Israel/Jerusalem, Greece and Turkey, entitled Pilgrimage in Biblical Lands, depicting their exciting, fantastic, and unforgettable pilgrimage.

Pastor Jair Tavares is a lay pastor, anointed by God, with a powerful testimony. A pastor who has experienced God's miracles several times. Having unwavering faith in God, he did not allow himself to be swayed by the sad circumstances that surprised him on life's path. He possesses extensive knowledge and wisdom in the Word of God, with profound and intimate experiences with the Holy Spirit. He has organized and participated in many conferences. Encounter with God throughout Brazil, including the United States of America.
