Pereira de Sousa Júnior nasceu em Lisboa, no dia 1 de janeiro de 1964. Em 2014, com o agravamento de um problema de saúde, acabou por se tornar num deficiente visual. Não podendo exercer a sua atividade profissional, por outro lado, tem mais tempo livre para ser mais interventivo na sociedade, envolvendo-se em alguns projetos de cariz social.
