Pep Montserrat

Pep Montserrat nasceu em Roda de Ter, em 1966. Estudou Pintura Mural e Design Gráfico, em Barcelona. Desde então, ilustrou numerosos livros infantis, trabalho pelo qual recebeu distinções, como o Prémio Nacional do Ministério da Cultura (1995), o Prémio Internacional da Catalunha (1997), o Prémio da Generalitat da Catalunha (1998) e a inclusão na IBBY Honor List (1998).
Desde 1998, é professor de Ilustração na Escola Massana, em Barcelona.
Mais recentemente, foi distinguido com o Prémio Nacional de Ilustração 2024, reconhecimento que destaca a excelência e o impacto do seu trabalho no panorama artístico internacional.
