Reconhecida mundialmente como autora, Mestre de Reiki e guia espiritual, Penelope Quest tem-se concentrado, nos últimos 20 anos, nas técnicas de tratamento corpo/mente. Em 1994, tornou-se Mestre de Reiki nos métodos Usui e Usui/Tibetano. Em 1996 tornou-se também Mestre em Karuna Reiki. Desde então, tem ensinado Reiki a milhares de alunos.
Atualmente ensina e escreve sobre o Reiki, e organiza ações de formação sobre desenvolvimento pessoal e espiritual. É autora de vários livros bestseller sobre Reiki, dos quais o mais reconhecido e premiado é precisamente Reiki para a Vida.
