Pedro Urbano

Pedro Urbano é investigador integrado do Instituto de História Contemporânea da NOVA FCSH / IN2PAST e investigador colaborador do Centro de Estudos Clássicos da FLUL. Doutorado pela NOVA FCSH com a tese Nos bastidores da Corte: O Rei e a Casa Real na crise da Monarquia (1889-1908), financiada pela FCT e vencedora da 23.ª edição do Prémio Victor de Sá. Publicou A Casa Palmela (2008), resultante da sua dissertação de mestrado. Tem também publicado vários capítulos de livros acerca de várias senhoras da corte portuguesa, nomeadamente a infanta D. Antónia de Bragança (2018), D. Leonor da Câmara, marquesa de Ponta Delgada (2021) e D. Mariana das Dores, condessa de Sabugosa e de Murça (2021). Além dos diversos estudos acerca da Casa Real Portuguesa durante o reinado de D. Carlos e de D. Maria II (2022), tem publicado acerca das tapadas e caçadas reais (2020) e do cerimonial fúnebre da monarquia constitucional (2021).
