Pedro Serrazina

Pedro Serrazina (Lisboa, 1968) é um Realizador premiado, professor catedrático e investigador na área da animação. O seu trabalho tem sido exibido e publicado internacionalmente, desde filmes a instalações site-specific, vídeos musicais e projetos académicos. A sua primeira curta-metragem, «Estória do Gato e da Lua», estreou internacionalmente no Festival de Cannes '96 e, integrada no Plano Nacional de Cinema, continua a ser regularmente exibida em retrospetivas e festivais Internacionais. Membro do conselho editorial da revista «Animation Practice, Process and Production», foi ainda editor das edições especiais da revista IJFMA «Animated Space: engaged animation for the space(s) we live in» e «Truth of Matter: process and perception in expanded animation practice». É também membro da Society for Animation Studies e codiretor do Ecstatic Truth (simpósio dedicado às práticas de animação e documentário), para além de ter sido diretor artístico da 45.ª edição do Festival Cinanima. Atualmente, prepara o seu próximo filme, «What remains of us».
