Pedro Schestatsky é professor de Neurologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, doutorado em Neurofisiologia pela Universidade de Barcelona, com um pós-doutoramento em Neuromodulação em Harvard.
É fundador das empresas Nemo — Neuromodulação Cerebral e LifeLab — Medicina de Precisão, sendo considerado um dos principais divulgadores da medicina vocacionada para criar saúde em vez de se limitar a tratar doenças.
Ficou conhecido, no Brasil, após as suas palestras TEDMED (2017) e TEDxSãoPaulo (2021), ao argumentar que a tecnologia não substituirá os médicos no futuro, mas empoderará os pacientes para que cuidem melhor de si mesmos.
