Pedro Saraiva

Pedro Saraiva nasceu em Vale de Cambra. Iniciou a formação teatral em1992, no T.U.P., Teatro Universitário do Porto, sob coordenação de Isabel Alves Costa. Fez o curso de Teatro no Balleteatro Escola Profissional do Porto. Estagiou no ACTO, Instituto de Arte Dramática. Trabalhou com o Living Theatre em Nápoles e no El Cortigo em Córdoba. Trabalhou, ainda, com vários encenadores nacionais e estrangeiros. Foi organizador dos eventos, "Corte-no-Marasmo" - Festival de Artes Performativas, "Trebilhadouro" - Festival Internacional de Artes e Culturas, "Beijamins" - Festival de Teatro para a Infância e Juventude. Participou em vários festivais em Portugal e estrangeiro (Canadá, França, Bélgica, Itália, Espanha, Cabo Verde, S.Tomé e Príncipe, Mali, Moçambique e Guiné Bissau).
É director artístico do TeatroArado Associação Cultural, companhia sedeada em Vila Nova de Gaia, e frequenta o curso superior de Teatro, na Escola Superior Artística do Porto. Escreve desde 2002 para teatro em jornais e revistas escolares.
