Pedro Rapoula

Pedro Rapoula nasceu em Leiria em 1977. Viveu e estudou em Coimbra, Paris e São Paulo, antes de se fixar em Lisboa. Assessor para os assuntos de cultura do Presidente da República entre 2006 e 2013, foi adido cultural na Colômbia e no Panamá, assim como diretor da Feira Internacional do Livro de Bogotá.
Na Colômbia, dedicou-se à publicação de poesia portuguesa, que traduziu, nomeadamente Ana Luísa Amaral, Filipa Leal, Luís Miguel Nava, Maria do Rosário Pedreira, Maria Quintans, Ruy Belo, entre outros. Traduziu ainda para português obras de autores como Juan Gabriel Vásquez, Pilar Quintana, Aixa de la Cruz e James Baldwin.
Em 2019, publicou o seu primeiro livro de poesia, E Chega Setembro. Atualmente, reside e trabalha em Lisboa.
