Pedro R. Esteves, 1967. Desenvolveu a carreira no setor público no Serviço de Inteligência Externo (SIED), na Defesa Nacional, onde dirigiu as relações bilaterais de Defesa, e como adjunto do Ministro da Administração Interna. Pós-graduado em Segurança Internacional pela Universidade de St. Andrews e mestre em Ciência Política pelo Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (Universidade Técnica de Lisboa).
Participa em grupos de trabalho sobre África e o mundo árabe, onde residiu em funções públicas. Publicou trabalhos sobre segurança e estudos regionais assim como artigos de opinião sobre segurança e intelligence.
Atualmente exerce funções no setor privado no âmbito da consultoria, do desenvolvimento internacional do negócio e da análise estratégica.
Foi docente de Competitive Intelligence e é formador externo nessa área. É ainda manager numa empresa de inteligência estratégica.
