Pedro Fernandes é investigador na área de Inteligência Artificial na Universidade de Lisboa. Escreveu o seu primeiro conto de ficção científica com quinze anos, narrando a descoberta do último homem na terra por um robô. Desde então, não conseguiu mais pousar a caneta. Além de escritor e investigador, Pedro é colecionador de espadas antigas, cofundador de uma start-up na área da Inteligência Artificial, músico, praticante de Krav Maga e orgulhoso dono de um cão Serra da Estrela que pesa tanto quanto ele.
Nascido em Lisboa, em 1995, foi reconhecido com o Prémio Nacional de Literatura Lions de Portugal 2024 pelo seu primeiro romance, Os Filhos de Nihil.
