Pedro Andrade
Pedro Oliveira da Costa Andrade was born on January 26, 2001, in Porto. With much of his life still to be told, he is studying Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (his first and only choice) and aspires to succeed in Psychiatry, an area that, like him, has always partly escaped the certainties and defined limits of Science, but also Art, which is the practice of medicine.
He has another published work of poetry, the book "Conversations" Published in 2022, he hopes to punctuate the coming years with more of his work, which he has been creating since he "copied" from Fernando Pessoa the excellent idea of putting his thoughts in writing. Besides his forays into the art of poetry, he ventures into video production and editing, and sees teaching as another potential way to "escape" medicine. He resides in Águas Santas, a town known not only for tunnels and handball teams, but also for its excellent psychiatric practices and a lineage of outstanding new Portuguese writers.
