Pedro Alcântara da Silva

Pedro Alcântara da Silva é licenciado em Sociologia pelo ISCTE, possui pós-graduação em Comunicação, Cultura e Tecnologias de Informação e está a concluir o doutoramento no mesmo Instituto sobre o debate sociopolítico do sistema de saúde na imprensa escrita (de 1990 a 2004). Tem desenvolvido trabalho de investigação no ICS desde a pesquisa que deu origem ao livro Saúde e Doença em Portugal (Imprensa de Ciências Sociais, 2002). Os seus interesses de investigação centram-se no domínio da sociologia da saúde e da comunicação, estando presentemente envolvido em diversos projetos relacionados com estas temáticas.
