María de La Paz Padilla Díaz é autora do fenómeno editorial de 2021: O humor da minha vida, baseado na sua dramática e maravilhosa experiência de vida, com mais de trezentos mil exemplares vendidos até à data. A sua carreira multifacetada começou em 1994, após a sua participação no programa de humor Genio y Figura. Participou em inúmeros programas de rádio e televisão como comediante ou apresentadora, desde Crónicas marcianas até ao Got Talent, e na adaptação cénica de O humor da minha vida, que já foi vista por mais de cento e vinte e cinco mil espetadores. Faz de tudo, menos parar de trabalhar.
