Paulo Nogueira nasceu em 1961, em Lisboa, e é jornalista. Começou a carreira profissional na Rádio Renascença, em 1984, e esteve vários anos na RTP. Em 1988, começou a apresentar o Jornal 2 e é, desde então, uma cara familiar para todos os portugueses. Em 1992, a convite de Emídio Rangel, ingressou na SIC, onde é pivot e coordenador de informação. Mantém paralelamente, desde há dez anos, uma colaboração regular com a Estrelas & Ouriços, uma marca de informação e uma revista dirigida às famílias com crianças.
