Joke Langens nasceu e cresceu na Bélgica. Mudou-se para Portugal em 2013, onde trabalha como guia-intérprete. Quando não anda pela estrada com os seus viajantes, está a passear algures por Portugal. Podem encontrá-la pelas montanhas, numa aldeia que resiste ou numa praia deserta, por ruas coloridas, restaurantes escondidos, na Feira da Ladra ou em Alfama, o bairro a que chama casa.
