Paulo Moura é um escritor e repórter freelance português, nascido no Porto em 1959. Estudou História e Jornalismo e, durante 23 anos, foi jornalista do Público.
Exerceu funções de correspondente em Nova Iorque e de editor da revista Pública, e tem feito reportagens em zonas de crise por todo o mundo.
Entre os vários livros que escreveu e publicou, destacam-se Extremo Ocidental: Uma Viagem de Moto pela Costa Portuguesa, de Caminha a Monte Gordo, de 2016, com o qual venceu a primeira edição do Grande Prémio de Literatura de Viagens Maria Ondina Braga; Uma casa em Mossul – os últimos dias do Estado Islâmico em 2018; e, em 2021, Cidades do Sol, em busca de utopias nas grandes metrópoles da Ásia.
