Paulo Martins é jornalista desde 1983, professor universitário e autor de vários livros. Integrou a redação de uma dezena de jornais e exerceu funções de chefia no Jornal de Notícias entre 1998 e 2014. Licenciado em Comunicação Social e doutorado em Ciências Sociais, é investigador do CAPP (FCT-ISCSP), no Grupo de Sociedade, Comunicação e Cultura.
