Paulo Lopes

Paulo Jorge de Matos Lopes nasceu em 1957, na Covilhã.
É mestre em Engenharia Têxtil pela Universidade da Beira Interior.
De 1980 a 2023 foi professor de Matemática no Ensino Secundário.
Em 2016, foi-lhe atribuída a medalha de mérito municipal, categoria prata, pelo Município da Covilhã.
Na sociedade civil desempenhou vários cargos em associações, sempre em regime "pro bono".
Em 2013, publicou um livro de contos infantis "A Princesa Margarida".
Foi cartoonista no Notícias da Covilhã durante mais de uma década.
É casado e pai de três filhos.
