É também investigador no CEFAGE-UÉ, fundamentalmente na análise do comportamento dos mercados financeiros, área onde tem publicado alguns artigos em revistas científicas.

Tem também experiência ligada à formação e consultoria empresarial. Licenciado e Mestre em Economia e Doutorado em Gestão, é autor de outros livros técnicos.
