Paulo Amaral

Nasceu em Viseu em 1970.
Licenciado em Sociologia, com uma tese sobre o Serviço Público de Televisão, que desenvolveu numa pós-graduação em Cultura e Comunicação, é desde 2001 jornalista do online da RTP.
Aos dezassete anos entregou uns poemas num concurso que lhe deu uma menção honrosa e, numa breve passagem por uma banda eletrónica, nos anos 90, entrou na coletânea Realidade Virtual da extinta Fast Forward Records.
Editou em 2006 o romance Zero com a editora Sinapses.
O Mecanismo de Matar é o seu primeiro romance em papel.
Em pequeno, delirava com o judo e os matraquilhos.
