É coordenador do Centro de Inovação e Projetos Web do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança e do Centro de Tecnologias de Informação da Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão.
É coordenador de e-learning do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança. As principais áreas de investigação incluem: e-learning, desenvolvimento web, multimédia, business intelligence e integração de sistemas de informação.
