Paule Constant

Paule Constant é um dos nomes de referência do moderno romance francês. Doutorada em Literatura (especialista em Literatura Francesa do século XVIII), romancista, professora universitária, ensaísta e crítica literária, é autora de vários romances, entre os quais merecem referência Propriété Privée (1981), White Spirit, Grande Prémio do Romance da Academia Francesa (1990), A Filha do Governador (recentemente editado em Portugal pela Casa das Letras) e Confidência por Confidência, distinguido com o prestigiado Prémio Goncourt (1998). Vive, actualmente, em Aix-en-Provence.
