Paula Ruivo nasceu em Viana do Castelo em 1977.
Veio para Lisboa com apenas sete anos. Atualmente vive na Venda do Pinheiro.
É coordenadora e gestora de um espaço dedicado a terapias complementares, nomeadamente o Reiki. Foi neste espaço que se sentiu inspirada e começou a escrever. As crianças são a sua grande paixão, considerando-se ainda e para sempre uma criança.
O que lhe dá mais prazer quando escreve é poder entrar no mundo mágico da fantasia e sentir-se personagem da própria história – dar asas à imaginação e criatividade.
