Paula Antunes

Nasceu no Barreiro em 1955.
Licenciada em Medicina pela Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Exerceu funções no Hospital Distrital de Santarém como médica interna do Internato Geral.
Exerceu também funções de Medicina Curativa e de Trabalho no Serviço de Saúde Ocupacional da Câmara Municipal do Barreiro, tendo implantado e organizado o referido Serviço.
Durante dez anos prestou Serviço de Urgência no Hospital Distrital do Barreiro.
Médica de Família no Centro de Saúde do Barreiro ao longo de trinta anos.
Possui o grau de Consultora da Carreira Médica de Clínica Geral.
Tem vários contos publicados na colecção O Lado Humano da Medicina.
