Patricia Marques nasceu no Barreiro, Portugal, antes de se mudar para Londres aos oito anos Licenciou se em Escrita Criativa na universidade de Roehampton e mais tarde obteve o grau de mestre em Escrita Criativa na City University.
Adora ler e escrever policiais com um toque de «algo mais» Na maior parte das manhãs, encontramo la numa composição de metro com o nariz enfiado num livro. As Cores da Morte é o seu primeiro romance.
