Padre Fábio de Melo nasceu no estado brasileiro de Minas Gerais, em 1971. Formou-se em Filosofia e Teologia, mas desde cedo entendeu que estava vocacionado para orientar o seu talento para o serviço de Deus. Foi ordenado sacerdote em 2001 e, desde então, procura disseminar a palavra de Deus através da escrita e da música.

Tem já editados 20 discos e 5 vídeos. Foi nomeado para um Grammy Latino em 2016 pelo seu disco Deus no Esconderijo do Verso. Na área da literatura, tem publicados no Brasil 13 livros. Este é o seu primeiro livro publicado em Portugal. Já vendeu mais de 6 milhões de livros e 2 milhões de discos.
