Ozeni Lima nasceu no Brasil, em 1962. É funcionária pública e professora, especialista em Língua e Literatura Portuguesa. Recebeu vários prémios, inclusive o de Revelação em Literatura do ano, 1997, da Sociedade de Cultura Latina no Brasil com o livro de crónicas Casaberta. Em 2006, os seus livros participaram em diversos eventos em Munique, Alemanha, entre eles: "Exposição de Livros Brasileiros", no Goethe Institut, e "Exposição de Autores e Ilustradores Brasileiros para Crianças e Jovens", no Interim Theater. Em Janeiro de 2010 foi contemplada pelo PROAC - Programa de Acção Cultural do estado de São Paulo, Secretaria de Estado da Cultura. Recebeu o prémio de edição do romance juvenil Pai ocupado, filho culpado.
