Olivier Py

Olivier Py nascido em 1965 em Grasse, é um dramaturgo e diretor francês. É também ator e realizador.
Ingressou na Escola Nacional de Artes e Técnicas do Teatro e em 1987, no CNSAD. Olivier Py também estudou filosofia e teologia. Assumiu o lugar de Stéphane Braunschweig em 1998, em 1997, foi nomeado diretor do Centro Nacional Drama de Orleans, onde criou muitas performances marcantes.
A Olivier Py é confiada a direção do Festival de Avignon em setembro de 2013.
Paralelamente tem ainda uma carreira internacional de diretor de ópera.
