Nuno Bernardo é um premiado produtor e realizador de televisão e cinema, nomeado para três prémios Emmy, e autor de livros infantojuvenis. Ao longo da sua carreira, foi criador das coleções Diário de Sofia, Diário Confidencial de Mariana e Bia & Fred, obras que venderam mais de 200 mil exemplares em Portugal. Diário de Sofia foi adaptado para televisão em vários países e os livros traduzidos e editados internacionalmente. Vive em Dublin, onde passa os seus dias a criar personagens e histórias para diferentes meios e ecrãs. Em 2010, foi destacado pela BBC como «um especialista mundial em novos media». Colégio do Templo é a sua mais recente obra.
