Noemi Alfieri é investigadora CEEC FCT no CHAM–Centro de Humanidades (NOVA/FCSH), com o projeto "Mapping anti-colonial networks through literature. Transnational connections of African thinkers in the reconfiguration of space and thought (1950s-70s)". Foi Investigadora Visitante no ASCL (U.Leiden), no Africa Multiple (U.Bayreuth) e Bolseira de Pós-Doutoramento do Projeto AFROLAB (CLEPUL), tendo realizado uma estadia de investigação no CEM-Eduardo Augusto Kwamba (ISCED-Luanda). A sua tese de doutoramento recebeu uma Menção Honrosa no Prémio Mário Soares (2021). É escritora.
