Nina Bouraoui
Born in Rennes (Brittany) in 1967 to a French mother and an Algerian father, Nina Bouraoui grew up in Algeria, a country whose language she did not speak. At fourteen, she returned to France, where her mother, who suffers from asthma, came for treatment: overnight, the girl's childhood changed. She currently lives in Paris. Her books are mostly written in the first person.
He wrote La Voyeuse interdito (1991), Inter Book Prize, Poing mort (1992), Le Bal des murènes (1996), L'Âge blessé (1998), Le Jour du seisme (1999), La Vie heureuse (2002), Poupée Bella (2004), My Bad Thoughts (2005, Renaudot Prize and Avant les hommes (2007).
