Nicole Krauss

Nicole Krauss nasceu em Nova Iorque, em 1974. O seu primeiro romance, intitulado Man Walks into a Room, foi considerado Livro do Ano pelo Los Angeles Times. A sua obra ficcional surgiu em publicações como a New Yorker, a Esquire e a Best American Short Stories, e os seus livros estão traduzidos em mais de trinta e cinco línguas.
É autora do best-seller internacional A História do Amor, romance publicado pela Dom Quixote, que a confirmou como uma das autoras mais notáveis da sua geração. Com ele venceu o William Saroyan International Prize for Writing e o Prémio do Melhor Livro Estrangeiro (França), e foi finalista dos prémios Orange, Médicis e Femina.
É considerada pela The New Yorker uma das maiores escritoras com menos de 40 anos.
