A carreira como professora de Nadia Worland inclui ser consultora de necessidades especiais, com foco no autismo. Tem sido uma das dinamizadoras da iniciativa australiana Positive Partnerships (Parecerias Positivas), em workshops de desenvolvimento profissional e apoio a professores e famílias. Atualmente, trabalha numa escola rural na Nova Gales do Sul e mora com o marido, 2 filhos, 2 cães, 100 cabras, 300 bovinos e 1000 ovelhas.
